UPDATED: Return to Play Scenarios for Development/Competitive Division

By L.Abate, General Manager, 06/04/21, 4:00PM EDT

Due to the most recent announcement by our Provincial Government on May 20th 2021, the Kleinburg Nobleton Soccer Club will continue to abide by restrictions imposed by all levels of government, health officials and our sport governing bodies (Ontario Soccer, Canada Soccer).

Given the most recent announcement, our Outdoor 2021 season is now scheduled to commence the week of June 14th which will then continue for 18 sessions concluding the week ending October 16th 2021.

The KNSC is awaiting the updated Return to Play Plan from Ontario Soccer and will communicate this as soon as we receive it.

What you can expect:

Once our Return to Play date is confirmed, the KNSC will implement full COVID-19 protocols for all participants and staff. These include:

  • Contact Tracing
  • Temperature Screening
  • Hand Sanitization
  • Masks to be worn when presenting and exiting facilities

The KNSC is committed to providing a fun and safe Outdoor 2021 and will be abiding by the new Provincial Road Map to Re-Opening, as soon as we are able.

2021 Development/Competitive Registration:

Only players who have reserved their spot for the upcoming season will be contacted once we have a confirmed start date, at this time we are planning for June 14th.

  • Credit vouchers will be processed as part of the 1st installment payment
  • Installment payments will continue monthly from then on
  • The balance pertaining to league play + 3rd practice will be processed once we arrive at Orange Zone and start date confirmed. According to the new Provincial Road Map to Re-Opening, leagues will commence in Phase 2 which may only be 21 days from June 14th.
  • We need to confirm team participation in league play as soon as possible. The YRSL and CSL must begin to create league schedules.
  • It is imperative to Save Your Spot a.s.a.p. or we may have no choice to withdraw league applications due to viability of teams structure.

Please note: Installment payments will not be processed until a start date is confirmed. From then onward, we will process payments monthly. The KNSC is attempting making every attempt to remain fair and flexible during these unpredictable times.

Once our start date is confirmed, we will send out a communication to all participants immediately.

The KNSC Board and staff continue to monitor this matter and will provide further updates as they become available. Team meetings will be scheduled closer to our Return to Play date of June 14th.

We thank you for your continued support, patience and cooperation as we transition through this lockdown.

Lucille Abate, GM
on behalf of the KNSC Board and Staff
