Good Morning Kleinburg Nobleton Soccer Club Members,

As we approach the end of the first week off from all sanctioned soccer activities I wanted to provide you with a brief update.

As you know KNSC is taking direction from our governing bodies, Ontario Soccer and Canada Soccer, and we are continuing to monitor the impact of Covid-19.

Here at KNSC I can assure you we will be resuming all soccer activity once the Covid-19 government guidelines and protocols have been lifted. The KNSC technical team, staff and board of directors are ready to get KNSC back on the field for the remainder of 2020 as soon as we can.

It is great to have seen via social media many of our members continuing to stay active and we encourage that to continue! Our members can practice individual skills such as keep ups, dribbling and work on their first touch or striking of the ball. To really challenge yourself use a smaller ball such as a tennis ball to complete your skills! For our goalkeepers there are various ways to work on hand eye coordination and you could also use a smaller ball to hone your skills. Please feel free to share your videos or pictures by tagging us on Instagram or Twitter @knsclions!

It is important to remember that we not only encourage our members to stay active with a soccer ball at their feet but also encourage our members to stay mentally active continuing to complete schoolwork and limit screen time throughout this break.

In closing, at this moment in time no decision has been made to shorten the outdoor season for both our recreational divisions ran internally through KNSC or the leagues our competitive teams play in externally ran through the York Region Soccer Association or the Central Soccer League. Rest assured no decision will be made with-out the consultation of myself, the staff and board of directors here at KNSC.

As always please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions. In the meantime, please stay safe, healthy and enjoy this time with family.

Yours in soccer,

Chris Eveleigh,
Kleinburg Nobleton Soccer Club
Director of Technical Development
