KNSC announces new Technical Director - Bob de Klerk

de-KlerkKNSC is pleased to announce Bob DeKlerk as it’s new Technical Director. 

On taking on this leadership role, he will oversee and reshape the technical program and improve the club’s overall culture. This role is critical to KNSC and will be pivotal to it’s overall success.

Bob is an UEFA ‘PRO LICENSE coach and was a Dutch Federation tutor. 
Bob will have a major role in the professionalization of the technical policy.

His experience, contacts and network will be an important link for the development of KNSCBob-de-Klerk-coaching

De Klerk spent 10 years working with the famous Ajax youth department before moving to The Major League Soccer.

He worked with Ajax youth teams, including the U19 team alongside Frank de Boer and led the team to several Championships.

Bob de Klerk had a major role in scouting & recruiting young talented players.

Most of the youth players are currently playing for the First Team and some of them play in the Italian Series A, English Premier League, Paris St. Germain and the Spanish Primera Division.

He worked with many International Top Players & Managers.

In addition to his work at Ajax, de Klerk spent time with Ajax Cape Town in South Africa.

De Klerk joined Toronto FC in January 6, 2011 as First Assistant Coach – Technical Director along with former Ajax colleague Aron Winter who became Head Coach/Technical Director.

He won the Canadian Cup in 2011 & 2012 and reached the semi-final in the CONCACAF.

On May 14, 2012 de Klerk was promoted to Technical Manager of Toronto FC.

From January 2014 Until June De Klerk was Director Youth Development at Dalian Aerbin F.C.of the Chinese Super League.
